Falcon Homes for Sale
Falcon is a rural community located in the Eastern Plains area of Colorado Springs. With its rolling pastureland, many ranches and farmers have been prosperous in this region, which is about 20 to 30 minutes from the city. Like many communities, the town grew up around its local post office and general store.

Some residents have third and fourth-generation ancestors who settled in the area. Along with these life-long residents, Falcon has seen an increase of people relocate into the area, who are trying to escape the bustle of Colorado Springs.
Falcon has experienced a growth in commercial industry and retail business in the past few years, and many shopping centers, restaurants and specialty shops have cropped up throughout the community.
Many of the properties in Falcon are single family homes on lots of one-quarter to 5 acres. In addition to these individual properties, residential communities are also being built among the area's rolling fields.
Falcon is also situated about 15 minutes north of Schriever Air Force Base, formerly known as Falcon Air Force Station, which is home of the 50th Space Wing. The base employs more than 6,000 personnel, and many have chosen to call Falcon home.
